Hi,
i dont know is this the right forum to post this question. if it is not, please direct me to the right forum. My question is how can catch a tlb miss in linux. i know that operating system does not handle the tlb misses. But is there a way for me to account tlb faults per process. Are there any performance registers or performance monitoring events that does this.

There are many performance monitoring events that account for a variety of tlb events.
If you have not yet downloaded and installed one or the other of these products, you should go do so right away and have a look:
