If VTune support remote sampling on Red Hat advanced server 2.1( kernel version 2.4.18 )with Itanium 2 processor?

Hi,

I personally made sampling remote collection on Itanium 2 with the configuration described in you post.

In worst case you'll have to rebuild kernel (adding some symbols) and the driver itself.

All this is well documented in the product. (see doc on Linux side after the install)
