will executable-of-interest survive multiple forks?

Hi, we have a binary with a complicated launch sequence that consists of a cascade of scripts. Will the executable-of-interest option survive this cascade or does it only look at the child processes of the top most script?

The executable-of-interest value should work through a cascade of scripts.
