Smart, Green and Connected
Everywhere we look these days we see smart devices, on your wrist, in your home and your car to name a few. Smart technologies fuel innovation, by connecting the “things” that were never connected before, providing to new data insights that translate to increased productivity and improved resource management. The number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices is growing at an unprecedented rate. Gartner predicted nearly 21 billion connected devices by 2020.
Demonstrating Possibility
Recently, Intel and GE joined forces to explore the opportunities presented by IoT in industrial applications and we have published a white paper, Digital Efficiency that delves into the potential and features a few projects that have been implemented at Intel and GE that demonstrate what is possible. The potential of these applications is compelling.
