This year's SXSW in Texas is poised to emphasize the increasing significance of AI solutions, offering sessions that explore AI's evolving impact on the workplace, ethical issues surrounding AI, and beyond. Several Intel® Liftoff members will be there at the Capital Factory on March 9, 2024 to network, explore the latest trends in the industry, and give exciting demos of their own innovative solutions.

There will be four stations set up for attendees to talk to the startups, learn about their solutions and view startup demos.

Expanso.io: Empowering Business Efficiency at the Edge

Expanso’s open-source software Bacalhau makes it possible to process data right wherever it may be: across different clouds, zones, or even regions. Their solution paves the way for major gains in operational efficiency and security, as well as cost reduction.

At SXSW, Expanso will demo a multi-server Bacalhau cluster, where one node is connected to a camera to trigger upon object detection. Expanso will leverage ML to identify specific video segments for processing, transmitting only relevant clips, reducing data volume and enabling more efficient resource allocation.

CloudConstable: Animated AI Powered Personalities With Purpose

CloudConstable’s vision is to create engaging (even friendly) animated service avatars to enrich the experience of every venue. Their flagship solution AVA (Animated Venue AI) is an animated customizable subject expert that can guide visitors, answer questions, and handle a variety of inquiries.

At the demo, CloudConstable will feature an AI startup concierge.

PredictionGuard: Insightful Predictive Analytics for Strategic Decision-Making

With PredictionGuard, enterprises can leverage the benefits of LLM and GenAI technology, without compromising on their security posture. PredictionGuard is an enterprise-ready LLM as a service solution that eliminates LLM security risks like prompt injection, hallucination and harmful outputs.

For their demo, PredictionGuard will show the platform in action, built on the Intel® Developer Cloud and Intel® Gaudi 2.

TurinTech.AI: GenAI Code Optimization for Peak Performance

TurinTech AI optimizes code by suggesting AI-generated performance improvements. Their platform enables businesses to build more efficient ML models and applications, offering significant gains in runtime and usage of both CPU and memory.

TurinTech’s interactive demo at SXSW will demonstrate automated code optimization for an open-source project using LLMs on Intel® Developer Cloud. The demo will show how TurinTech takes source code, refactors it and returns optimized code variants to the developer.
