New Intel® SceneScape Capabilities 

• Now you can process various camera feeds to build larger aggregated scenes for real-time actionable insights. 

• Detect and track objects with newly added 3D bounding boxes to identify subjects such as vehicles, shipping containers, or pallets. 
• Object tracking technology now extends across multiple camera frames, enabling the continuous recognition and accurate re-identification of individuals or objects, even after they have left and re-entered the view. 

Enhanced Edge AI Model Management with Intel® Edge Insights System 

• Upload, retrieve, and update Intel® Geti™ vision models deployed in your edge devices via a model registry. 

AI and Applications 

Large Language Model (LLM) Optimizations 

• Improved LLM performance and reduced latency for Intel® built-in GPUs and discrete GPUs. 

• New OpenVINO GenAI package offers a simplified API for text generation using large language models with only a few lines of code.  

• OpenVINO Model Server supports OpenAI-compatible API along with Continuous Batching and PagedAttention, enable higher throughput for parallel inferencing, when serving LLMs to many concurrent users. 

Infrastructure Software 

Streamlined Edge Management 

• Manage your edge nodes with ease by establishing hierarchical relationships, such as regions, locations, and sites. 

• Configure multiple edge nodes simultaneously, applying specific OS and security settings. 

Simplified Onboarding for Local and Brownfield Hardware 

• Leverage secure manual edge hardware onboarding via USB for the initial setup process. Ideal for devices without HTTPS Boot.

The Intel Tiber Edge Platform was launched worldwide in Q1 2024 and is generally available.
