Terrible performance on modded Assetto Corsa Custom Shaders Patch while in a No Hesi server.

Hello,
I ran into some performance issues in this specific assetto corsa server called No Hesi which has AI traffic for us to cut through. I am currently running the latest WHQL 6881 drivers on my B580. In other servers and other maps, the performance is fine running pretty high settings at 1440p but it's always this specific server and its highway maps such as Shutoko Revival Project and 415 maps. When I run this map offline, not on a server and without any traffic, it runs great. The issue is also worsened with some specific cars especially the BMWs, I'm guessing it's because that they get a lot of use and get a lot of extra little details which worsens the performance.
Assetto Corsa from steam with Custom shaders patch 2.6.

I also used to have a GTX 1650 4GB which ran this game at around 40 to 50 fps with default settings at 1080p and the VRAM was fine at 4GB but somehow after i upgraded, it runs worse and eats up 13 sometimes 14gb of VRAM? doesn't make any sense, it is also very inconsistent and sometimes it runs fine but most of the time it just doesn't. An RTX 4060 can run the No Hesi server at 100 FPS at 1080p with heavily modded Custom Shaders Patch settings.

The only problem is with No Hesi though, other servers and maps it runs very well and I am very pleased with the performance.

This is my first time reporting an issue, if there is anything missing please tell me. (apologies for the terrible grammar and structure)

Thanks!

Hi MCD22,

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. To assist us in investigating the issue, please provide the following details:

When did the issue start? Was it after a specific driver update or game patch?

Is the Resizable Bar enabled?

Have you used DDU to completely remove all residual drivers and installed a new one?

Have you tried adjusting the graphics settings?

Could you provide a screenshot of your in-game display and graphics settings?

Which gaming platform did you use to download the game?

Additionally, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your system, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This tool will generate a text file compiling all your system information. You can follow the instructions at this link and send the text file here. Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility.

If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hello there, thanks for replying.

I can't remember specifically when the issue started, as it was a long time ago when. Around shortly after I got the card in late January. ReBar is enabled and DDU has been used to reinstall the drivers multiple times to no avail.

The only way to get it working as of right now is to put all the settings fully down which makes the game look unplayable and even that gives only around 50 to 70 fps with minor stutters. I swapped my drive somewhere last month and it ran horribly ever since, before this, it wasn't too bad but it's a dice roll whether the game would run good or not, it could perform horribly after I move the game to different drives. I got the game from Steam. The intel SSU report is in the initial post in the text file called sys_specs.txt. Currently running CSP 2.6. Screenshots of all the game settings will be down below.

If there's anything else missing, let me know.

Thanks!!

Hi MCD22,

Thank you for the update.

I would also like to obtain 3 CapFrameX log while playing in server and in offline along with a different server to thoroughly analyze the FPS performance. Kindly ensure that the game would run for a minimum of 2 minutes each.

If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hello there, sure thing.

I recorded the Offline frametime data in the official spa map from assetto corsa

The frametimes for another server is from a nurburgring nordschleife server also run by no hesi but different track, also worth mentioning that the track is an official track from the game and not a mod.

All of these are using the same car too.

The server that is having an issue is the no hesi traffic server which is using a modded map called Shutoko Revival Project the latest version and has AI traffic, a lot of it. It can fine before on my 1650, so I don't see a reason why it would not work anymore now.

If there's anything else you need, let me know once again.

Thanks!!
