i915 focal fossa stencil buffer not available

Hello,

i have a thinkpad, focal fossa 20.04, intel hd 5500 graphics, kernel-driver: i915

uname -r provides me: 5.4.0-42-generic (kernel)

My probem: i wrote a program in c++ with sdl2 and opengl. But i cant set my stencil buffer to 8 bits. It always return 0 bit size for the stencil buffer. Before in OS version 18.04 i had no issues with my program. No error messages are thrown. Neither in the building phase and nor in the run-phase.

Does someone have a software solution for that?
