Hi JanHung,
We've added a workaround for this issue in the troubleshooting section of the documentation. Could you please give it a try and let me know if it resolves the issue for you?

Hi JanHung
The engineering team is working on a fix, which should be available in the next release.
Currently, there are two issues. For the Media Communications Mesh (MCM) issue you encountered, please try the following workaround:
1. Navigate to the installation directory
cd <working dir>/Metro_AI_Suite_Device_Qualification
2. Edit install_pkgs_status file
vi install_pkgs_status
3. Update the mcm_build_status by changing the value from 0 to 1:
mcm_build_status=1
4. Re-run the installation command
./edgesoftware install
The second issue you might encounter is related to the XPUM version. I'm currently waiting to see if there's another workaround available while we anticipate the next software release.
Regards,
Jesus

Thank you, JesusE.
However, even after modifying install_pkgs_status, I'm still unable to install the va enable node.

Hi JanHung, thanks for confirming that the troubleshooting steps worked for you.
Hi Amanda, could you try the steps on a fresh OS or a different system? Your screenshot indicates there might be an issue with some package dependencies.

Hi Jesus,
Thanks for your reply.
On this same system, I've only installed "esq for ai edge system." Can these two packages coexist?

Hi AmandaLee,
It's not recommended, as some components may interfere with each other. Could you please try on a fresh OS installation and let me know if the same issue occurs?

Jesus
