Hi,
I am trying to run the Intel ESDQ for Intel® Edge Controls for Industrial test on my computer, with the OS Ubuntu22.04, and the CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 255H. I've followed step by step with the manual, but stuck in the RTPM package installation.
Here's the error message:
and neither with the other command on the manual.
If there's any way to solve? Thank you.
Best regards,
Helen Tan

Hi Helen Tan,
It seems you might not be booting into the correct kernel. The output of uname -a should resemble the following:
Linux eci-bullseye ...-intel-ese-standard-lts-rt+ #1 SMP PREEMPT_RT ...
Please refer to the following section to ensure you're selecting the correct kernel.

Hi Helen,
Is your system running Ubuntu 22.04 with Preempt-RT patched Linux? If not, this might be why the package isn't found. Please refer to the Edge Controls for Industrial documentation for instructions on installing the ECI repository and applying the Preempt-RT patches.
