Running edgesoftware install behind proxy

My dev system is behind proxy... and installation is failing.

Any suggestions?

Hi Alex, 

Can you insert your proxy into /etc/environment as well , http_proxy, https_proxy and no_proxy settings ? And once this file is updated, do try the installation again.

Unfortunately it didn't help.

I was able to "apt-get" all dependencies, but it's now failing with

Thanks for you response. I've an issue with Edge Insights for Vision package and does not seem to be working even with the latest version.

  Not sure whether I can reopen this link, but I'm facing installation issues with Edge Insights For Vision package. Though my proxy settings are all done, I keep on getting the following error while downloading the software modules.

Same for me, I believe there's some specific proxy configuration needed since our dev machine are all internal.

Do we have any specific BKM for setting up EI for AMR within intel network on Linux based dev machine ?

Hi,

  Incase if you've set your proxy correclty, please check the no_proxy and NO_PROXY variables and remove .intel.com from the no_proxy and NO_PROXY variables.

I am also having the same problem trying to install Edge Software Configurator on a virtual machine.
