I make the test of :
https://eci.intel.com/docs/3.3/components/ethercat.html#ethercat-analysis-with-wireshark
Unfortunately the KUNBUS TAP is no longer produced ! I Have a Dualcomm TAP :
https://www.dualcomm.com/collections/network-tap/products/zero-delay-fast-ethernet-copper-tap
It seems that I have false positive. I have a ethercat frame each millisecondes. but sometimes on wireshark I have 6 ms between 2 frames.
To be sure I have added the DC Clock Ethercat in my PDO trame , and when I see the value of DC clock between 2 frames with 6 ms gap , I actually have 1ms.
Has anyone already taken the test ?
wireshark is installed on linux/ubuntu22.04 and launch with very high priority.

Ok, after investigations , the Dualcomm TAP is not a real real-time ethernet analyzer ! what a shame !
