Altera Byteblaster II drivers (25-pin parallel) and Quartus II v8.1 software

I need to download Byteblaster II drivers on a new computer (for Linux or WinXP) but they are not available on the site. I also need help downloading Quartus II v8.1 software to ensure compatibility and not redo any hardware programming. 

Will the Byteblaster II USB variant provide identical FPGA programming, compared to the 25-pin parallel port variant?

Where can I download these drivers and software?
