Hi @all,
i am new here and need an answer concerning the MAC-address of Ethernet WG82574IT.
Do I have to buy an unique MAC-address or does the chip come with a valid MAC-address?
I hope that anyone can help me

Hi,
I do not think you need to buy a MAC-Address, you should config the MAC-Address in the Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) of Ethernet Controller 82574IT. Pins on the 82574 are connected to same named pins on the NVM. Please see the Datasheet in detail.
The following is the URL of datasheet of Intel 82574 Gigabit Ethernet Contriller.

For futher questions please let me know.
