Intel I350-AM2 EEPROM config

Hello All,

I'm developing Network adapter using I350-AM2 controllers. This adapter will support 1  RJ45 ports on MDI_0 and 1 SFP port on SFP_0.

Right now we only saw the SFP port already came up and working, but RJ45 port not come up yet. Is it firmware in EEPROM issue? Do we have any firmware to enable this features?

Updated:

After program EEPROM image I350_2Copper2SerdesFiber_NO-MNG_1_63. then RJ45 worked but SFP notwork anymore. Do we have any ways to config both Copper and Fiber work at the same time?

Another Question:

In EEPROM release notes, i saw that:

I350_2Copper2SerdesFiber_NO-MNG_1_63:
This package is for the 17x17 pin I350 with 2 ports to be configured for a 1000BASE-T (Copper) connection and 2 ports to be configured for a SerDes Fiber connection. No manageability enabled.

When used this firmware for I350-AM2, is it become 1 port for Copper and 1 port for Fiber? right now using this firmware just only Copper port work.

I will not transfer this forum back but all Ethernet related forums should be in the Ethernet community, my apologies for the confusion.

I have been investigating regarding your issue, it could be the design may have something missing, I think you can use the checklist for the i350 first, also, I read that LAN1 and LAN 2 can connect to RJ45 and LAN 3 and LAN 4 connect to SFP.

Also, I think it may be best to use the Premier support to get better support regarding this design.

Thanks Diego for really Value response, Appreciated.

For I350-AM2, it only have 2 ports, so i routed the Port0 to RJ45 and Port1 to SFP. but unfortunately don't have any available firmware for EEPROM support it. do we have any resoure that can help me to develop firmware for it?

I will try to reach with Premier support, and also looking for help from here.
