i226-IT drop-in replacement for i225-IT

Hi,

 

we have a product with the intel i225-IT ethernet controller.

The question is, can we use the new i226-IT as a drop-in replacement ?

I.e., can we simply populate i226 instead of i225 on the PCB or are any changes necessary ?
