NOTE: I selected the "Intel DevCloud" board because the form required I select a development board in order to post to this forum, the processor in question is not on an Intel Dev board. I am a digital electronics hobbyist trying to expand my knowledge and experience.
I have a mini ITX motherboard with an Atom E3825 processor on it and there is no activity at all from what I can tell. I know the RAM & the mSATA drive are okay, but I cannot tell if the processor is faulty or needs to be reballed.
I have removed the heat sink, exposing what appear to be an array of test points arranged in one row of sixteen and one row of fifteen contacts. I checked the test points with reference to ground using my oscilloscope, and saw some were at ground potential while some were at 3.3VDC, and some were at other voltages, but nowhere did I see any activity.
Is there a datasheet for the assignments of the test pins or a test procedure for me to see if the problem is with the processor or the motherboard?
Many thanks in advance!

Hello, @code-surfer-dev.
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am sorry to hear what is happening with your PC.
We have a forum for those specific products and questions so we are moving it to the Embedded Intel Atom® Processors Forum so it can get answered more quickly.

Hello @CarlosAM_INTEL,
The motherboard part number is:
EMB-BT1-A22-2807-MS-NDCJ
It appears to have been manufactured by AAEON Technology Inc., an ASUS company. It also appears to be made as an OEM part as I am unable to source any documentation or replacements specifically for it.
Going back to the original post on this thread, does the motherboard have any bearing on the signals on the test points on the processor? Is there a reason why it is so difficult to find datasheets/documentation on this model of Atom processor? I tinker with 8 bit processors and retro-computers for a hobby, and there are docs and datasheets for almost everything for people like me to learn from. Why not for the Atom?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance.

Hello @CarlosAM_INTEL:
I posted a response several days ago, but it appears that it didn't post correctly. The motherboard model is:
EMB-BT1-A22-2807-MS-NDCJ
I believe the manufacturer is AAEON, an ASUS assoc Co..
Really looking forward to any information I can get to diagnose if the problem is the processor or not, because then I might be able to repair the system by simply replacing the processor.
Many thanks in advance,

Hello, @code-surfer-dev :
Thanks for your reply.
You need to address your request related to the cited third-party device using as a reference the channels listed on the following websites:
https://www.aaeon.com/en/support/form/
https://www.aaeon.com/en/support/
By the way, the Intel Atom® Processor E3825 is part of the Bay Trail processor family, as you may confirm on the following website:
The Bay Trail available documentation can be found on the following website:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/platforms/details/bay-trail/docs.html
However, we want to clarify that Bay Trail family products are no longer supported, as you may confirm on the following website:

I see that there have been a lot of views of this post, but no responses.
It would be great if someone would kindly let me know where I could get data sheets or documentation on theAtom E3825 processor.
Thank you in advance
