  • We are using the Win 10 Enterprise LTSC 1809 version with Intel Atom E3950 processor.
  • We wanted to know whether the Windows 10 32bit OS is compatible for the E3950 processor.
  • If it has support with 32-bit, we need the chipset and total driver package for this supported platform. Can you please check and provide the same?

Not on the compatibility list that I can see:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-10-21h2-supported-intel-processors

Doc (not an Intel employee or contractor)
[Maybe Windows 12 will be better]

Hello,  @Senthil7

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

The Intel Atom® x7-E3950 Processor is part of the Apollo Lake processor family, as you may confirm on the following website:

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/96488/intel-atom-x7-e3950-processor-2m-cache-up-to-2-00-ghz.html

We need to clarify that the Apollo Lake processors have been discontinued and are no longer supported, as you may verify on the following website:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022396/processors.html

However, the information stated on page 4 of the following document may help you:

https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/334896?fileName=atom-processor-e3900-series-product-brief.pdf

Also, you may find the available documentation for the cited processors on the following website:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/platforms/details/apollo-lake/docs.html

Best regards,

@CarlosAM_INTEL.
