Support for Intel firmware support package for Intel N450 board. The board has AMI PnP Flash BIOS.

Intel boot loader project kit does not have any reference design for Intel N450.

Also Uboot support for Intel atom is not provided. Is there release notes for complete procedure on Intel FSP and bootloader integration steps

for Intel atom N450.

Any pointers will be appreciated.

There are no plans for N450 support with FSP. Intel is coming out with an E6xx version of FSP later this year, which will be enabled on a new dev kit in the market called, http://www.minnowboard.org/ Minnowboard (http://www.minnowboard.org/ http://www.minnowboard.org).

There is a BLDK for N450 which is fond on the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/intel-boot-loader-development-kit/intel-bldk-initialization-firmware-development-solutions-toolkit.html Embedded Design Center (http://www.intel.com/go/bldk http://www.intel.com/go/bldk). Scroll nearly to the bottom of the page and look for the section entitled,

Intel Atom processors 400 and 500 series with Intel® 82801HM I/O Controller Hub (Intel® ICH8M): Formerly Luna Pier (Pineview + ICH8M).

Thanks for the reply.

Where can I find the UBoot source supporting atom family processors

Also in one of the FSP docs, I understood that BIOS is replaced with Uboot.

Are there any procedures regarding how this is done ?

Hello, prasannakarthik!

Here's what I was able to dig up for you:

Uboot will only be supported as a Payload from Coreboot, not directly using Uboot. Information on how to implement the payloads for Uboot is described online at http://www.coreboot.org/Libpayload http://http://www.coreboot.org/Libpayload www.coreboot.orghttp://www.coreboot.org/Libpayload /http://www.coreboot.org/Libpayload Libpayload
