Hi,
I am looking for the latest WEC7 MR3.1 BSP and the EMGD video driver as referenced in the attached pdf release notes that have recently been released by Intel.
Could anyone point me to a link to where to download these? Adeneo and BSQuare do not have these posted. Adeneo only has the MR2 release which was from back in March and their EMGD driver is even older. There have been two releases since March 2015. There is a July 2015 MR3 and August 2015 MR3.1.
Also from my understanding there is a new EMGD driver as referenced in the attached release notes. (Intel_BYT_WEC7_EMGD_v36.16.3_RC_2015-07-02_3000.zip)
There is also another file referenced in the release notes. IO Driver (Intel® Processor WEC IO BSP.msi )
If necessary my company also has an elevated Intel Permissions Account but for whatever reason I have to use a separate account to access this forum.
Thanks,
Brian

Hello Brian,
The Windows Embedded Compact 7 (WEC7) MR3.1 Board Support Package (BSP) and Intel(R) Bay Trail WEC7 Embedded Media and Graphics Driver (EMGD) v36.16.3 are unavailable to be released at this moment because they are available in Beta version, which is only for Intel internal use.
A Corporate Non-Disclosure Agreement (CNDA) is required to obtain them when the next version will be released, because they are categorized as Intel Confidential. A CNDA is between a company and Intel. More CNDA information can be found at the following web site:
https://supplier.intel.com/static/misc/CNDAterms.htm https://supplier.intel.com/static/misc/CNDAterms.htm
Finally, please update your Embedded Design Center (EDC) account to Privileged type. To request an upgrade from your Basic EDC account to a Privileged account, go to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/embedded/embedded-design-center-support.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/embedded/embedded-design-center-support.html and click on "Manage Your Intel Profile" found in the "Manage Your Account" section of the page. From there you can request an upgrade. After you submit the application, please let me know and I will expedite the review of your application. The application can be found at:
https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/intelligent-systems/registration-po.html https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/intelligent-systems/registration-po.html
Please let us know if this information is useful to you.
Best Regards,
Carlos A.

Hi Carlos,
My company already has a CNDA with Intel but it is tied to another email account. Could you give me a call so that we do not have to discuss this publicly in the forum. If not can you give me a direct email way to communicate with you.
Thanks,
Brian

Hello, Brian! In order to supply you with Intel Confidential content, your account needs to be upgraded from Basic to Privileged. Your company does indeed have a CNDA with Intel so approving your request to upgrade will take no time at all. I will have mailto:edc.support@intel.com EDC Support contact you to get this done.
Thanks!

Either ours or your email server stripped the setup file out of the zip that you emailed. Could you provide a download link? or I can provide a place to upload. Also would it be possible to get this file referenced in the Release notes above. (Intel_BYT_WEC7_EMGD_v36.16.3_RC_2015-07-02_3000.zip)

Hi Carlos,
Your email server is still removing files from the zips even after you rename them to .txt. Could you please try resending the zips with password protection and renamed? The server seems to be smart enough to dig into the files even when the extension is changed but adding the password should prevent the server from interfering.
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Carlos,
I have still not received all 5 of the zip files for the EMGD and some of the files that I did receive are corrupt. Please use this link to upload the files to me. You will need to use the same password that you have been using for the zip files. https://parkerhannifin.box.com/s/lvg7mk3ghj28jon35hyrg6or0mhsyw03 https://parkerhannifin.box.com/s/lvg7mk3ghj28jon35hyrg6or0mhsyw03

Hi Gabriel,
I have not received your emails. They must be getting blocked. I have checked our servers quarantine and they are not there so I suspect it is Intel's server.
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Gabriel,
Your server is still digging into the zip files and removing .dll and .exe files. Even if you change the extension it still does it. What you need to do is zip each of the attachments with a zip password. Make the password "password".
Thanks,
Brian
