I have an Intel Atom x5 E8000 processor on which I need to deploy Windows 10 IoT Core. I created the image as mentioned in "336577_BSP for Win10 IoT Core_User Guide_Rev001.pdf" document. I flashed the image on a USB drive and tried to boot the system with it. It DID NOT work. Hence I created a WinPE bootable thumb drive and tried flashing it on the processor's in built storage with DISM utility. The DISM tool gave me an error saying " Attempted to flash a non anti theft image or unsupported image on an anti theft device". Can anyone let me know how to know whether the processor is an anti theft device and if it is an anti theft device, how to disable it.
My final aim is to deploy IoT Core on this processor. If I can try sth else or if anything I am missing kindly let me about it.
Regards,

Hello, @SSing184:
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
You should verify that the BIOS is setting the USB boot option as the priority.
Best regards,

Hello, @SSing184:
Thanks for your reply.
In order to better understand this situation, we want to address the following questions:
Could you please give part number or the top side markings pictures of the processors associate to this forum?
Could you please clarify if this situation happens on your design or a third- party project?
In case that it is a third-party device, could you please inform the name of the manufacturer, its model, the part number, and where its documentation is stated?
On the other hand, could you please let us know how many units of the project related to this circumstance have been manufactured? How many are affected? Could you please give the failure rate? Also, could you please list the sources that you have used to design it and if it has been verified by Intel?
Could you please let us know all the details of the BIOS associated to this situation?
