Dear All,
I have been unable to locate EEPROM data files for the 82599 part on the Intel web site.
Does anyone have a link to these?
Thanks, Paul.

Dear Gabriel,
I got the ZIPped files successfully. The included 82599_4 40_EEPROM_readme.pdf
has no explicit mention of the 82599ES. Can I assume that the 82599_XAUI_NO_MNG_4.40
file, for example, will work on both the JL82599ES and the JL82599EN?
I did try the design review link, but it said I needed "privileged access", which I thought
I already had. I did go through the application process to get it. I believe we already have
the NDA signed and in place.
Thanks, Paul.

Hi Pwilc,
I'm quite new to 82599 ethernet controller. We are going to develop a bypass card using 82599. Do you have any resources which are helpful ?
I want to know why is there a EEPROM and is there any image to download for EEPROM and 82599 iteself and how it can be configured using PC through PCI port ( Does it communicate through SMBUS ? )
Your reply is highly appreciated.
Regards
Supun.
