I have a PLC system using Windows 10 IoT enterprise 2021, and intel HD graphics 500. I need to set the resolution to 800x480, however this is not an option, I've tried a variety of things CRU, editing reg values, Set-DisplayResolution powershell module, but nothing works.
I have an older but very similar system which is instead using intel hd graphics and I was able to delete that driver and revert to the basic display adapter and set a custom resolution through reg values. However when I delete the driver for HD 500 system, it reverts to basic display adapter but it greys out resolution setting all together and I cannot set the resolution.
It also seems to be using a different driver file "...DriverStore\basicdisplay.inf_amd64_....\BasicDisplay.sys" as opposed to the older systems "...System32\drivers\BasicDisplay.sys"
Im not sure if there is a different way to set the resolution or if there is a way to switch the drivers on the current system?

Processor is Atom x5-e3940, I am using an industrial pc from Beckhoff (c6015-0020). I have tried using CRU, setting registry values, and set-displayresolution power shell command. Since the system is using intel HD graphics 500 I tried removing this display driver and reverting to basic display adapter which worked on a different device but not in this case, when I did on this device it greys out the resolution drop down all together.

Hello zdegore,
Thank you for the update.
Just to check, have you tried checking this issue with Beckhoff?
OEM manufacturers can alter, modify or enhance a controller and since this is an OEM system. They may have a custom settings in place.
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
