OK so I'm getting very mixed messages....
This right below is from an actual Intel pack list so clearly Intel is saying this part's COO is Ireland -
COO: Ireland QTY: 650
COA: Vietnam
and yet I also received this-
Hi,
Please note the products listed below were assembled by Intel Corporation in the following country(ies):
MM | Country of Fabrication | Country of Assembly |
99AAMF | Ireland | Vietnam, China |
Data based on existing inventory; information is subject to change upon Intel supply chain model.
Regards,
_______________________________________________________________________
Since these looks like there are 2 pcs to this origin puzzle, what is really considered the country of origin and why
Silicon Expert is deferring to Vietnam/China based on the communication from Intel above yet your own pack list says Ireland Please advise Thanks

This doesn't really answer my question How does Intel define Country of Origin if the parts have multiple countries associated with its creation? There is conflicting information between definitions and how Intel determines what is the COO country that they ultimately put on their pack list/certificate of conformance This is what I need answered asap

Hello, @kh14:
Thanks for your update.
We want to clarify that you are correct that COO = Country of Origin of the specific fab, which is related to the Wafer Fab information, as is stated in the information provided in our previous communication.
