I have 4 core processor i5-3570. I run the multicore in a bare PC environment, no OS or kernel. Four cores are running properly. However, APs run 220 times slower than BSP.
I checked the running frequency using MPERF and APERF, it is 3.4GHZ, same as the processor speed. I measures clock ticks for a simple ADD operation, AP runs extremely slow.
What I am missing? Any suggestions are helpful. Thanks in advance. mailto:rkarne@towson.edu rkarne@towson.edu
