Hi,
We are using Linux 4.15 on intel ATOM E3845 .we are working to develop a device driver. For ex: We are trying to integrate NFC pn54xx to intel x86_64 architecture. We need where to add hardware information of module in kernel.
Please let us know where we need to add the hardware information in Linux for x86_64 architecture. We are aware of modifying the device tree in ARM architecture but we are unsure of where we need to add the hardware information in x86_64 architecture. Please help.

Hello, priyan:
Thanks for your clarification.
Reviewing the information stated on page 3 of the https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/platform-briefs/atom-processor-e3800-platform-brief.pdf Intel(R) Atom(TM) Processor E3800 Product Family Platform Brief, the cited OS is unlisted as supported.
Due to this fact, could you please try to replicate this situation using any of the OS listed as supported?
Waiting for your reply.
Best regards,
Carlos_A.
