i5-8400h processor

Hello.

Using i5-8400h processor, I am wondering how much the thermal resistance between junction and case (so called theta_jc) is.

The max junction temperature is described in the specification as 100℃, but could not find the max case temperature or theta_jc information.

Could you please let me know thermal metrics of i5-8400h processor (cpu chip) in terms of maximum case temperature or thermal resistance from junction to case (theta_jc).

Best regards,

Kyuwan.

Hello, @CarlosAM_INTEL:

I would like to know the processor thermal metric information, as I am in charge of product thermal simulation in company.

Currently, I do not have the information of the place of purchase, and I need to get the information from purchase team.

For the discussion with purchase team,

would you let me know why you ask the place of purchase?

Thanks and regards,

@Q1Hwang.
