Hi,

Same issue with the Dell Optiplex 960 is discussed here:

I've got the same problem on HP DC7900's using the 82567LM-3 NIC. Drop-outs, DNS resolution failing, Netlogon failing and unable to browse DFS. The only thing which offers some help is to set the NIC to use a Static IP Address.

Really need this one fixed....

Update

- set the NIC speed to 10MB/Full - No problem with DNS/DFS/Netlogon but the network is really slow.

- set the NIC speed to 100MB/Full - Problem still exists

- set the NIC speed to 100MB/Full & Port on Cisco switch - no problem with DNS/DFS/Netlogon, but the network is again slower than 100MB.

Is this a case of a dud NIC or dud driver?

I've never had problems with Intel kit before...
