E610 SFP+ Support

The E610 mentions SFP+ support in the datasheet, but not the product spec.

 

Does the E610 (specifically, E610-XAT2) support SFP+? If so, are there any reference designs available?

Going through our support structure, I was able to request access to submit the IPS ticket for this issue (case no. 00955799).

As per product brief, SPF+ modules are not supported on E610-XAT2.

The product spec does not cover all of the interfaces listed in the datasheet, , particularly, SFP as there is quite a bit of references to SFP in the datasheet as  Table 3-67 - how are these two reconciled?

I do not have a product with an E610 in it, I'm trying to make one. With the conflicting information, I'm trying to get a better understanding of the capabilities.

Hi Simon,  I've tried creating an IPS ticket - there is no option for E610 support in the product select, which prevents me from creating an IPS ticket.

None of "E610," "E810," nor "E830" match to any products in the IPS case creation form.

Could you please let us know which options are currently being displayed? Alternatively, you may create an IPS case using any generic Intel Ethernet product.
