Hi All,
I currently have the I221 Gigabit Network Connection on my ROG Motherboard.
I use Drivereasy to upgrade all my drivers (I have also tried to manually upgrade the driver by downloading the software etc and still no luck)
When i upgrade the driver i instantly loose internet connection bottom right, I troubleshoot, and it just says Connect an ethernet cable. I am not sure why it is doing it but my OCD is kicking in and i need to be on the latest!
I am on windows 10
3080ti GPU
32GB RAM
5950x ryzen 9
Strix X 570-F motherboard
Thanks in advanced for anyone who knows a fix!

Hello AxelZUK,
Thank you for posting in Intel Ethernet Communities.
Please provide the following information that would help in checking your request.
1. When was the issue first encountered? Is it only when you try to update the driver?
2. Do you encounter any issue while updating the driver? Did the driver updated successfully and that is only time when the issue occurred?
3. Do you encounter any performance issue prior to update?
4. Can you confirm that prior to update, the Ethernet connection is working fine?
5. Please confirm that you are using the Intel® Ethernet Controller I211 and not the I221 Gigabit Network Connection?
6. Please share the current status of your Ethernet controller. Is it working fine as of this moment?
7. What is the current driver version of your Ethernet?
8. Have you tried manually updating using the latest driver that can be downloaded from Asus site below?
https://rog.asus.com/my/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x570-f-gaming-model/helpdesk_download/
9.We understand that this is an Ethernet controller that's embedded with Asus system. For Original Equipment Manufacturer(OEM) on-board Ethernet controller, we'd like to set your expectation that we might have a limited support and it would be best if you can also get in touch with Asus for further support since they have customized drivers and software to enable or alter features on your system. They are in best position where you can seek assistance so you don’t lose features or customizations of the Ethernet controller. But don't worry as we will still try to provide our best effort support on this one.
Awaiting to your reply.
Should there be no response from you, we will follow up after 3 business days.
Best regards,
Crisselle C.
