Kernel mode heap corruption when setting untagged VLAN

I've installed Intel® Network Adapter Driver for Windows® 10

version: PROWinx64.exe

 

My Laptop has adapter: I219-LM (as shown on the screenshots)

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

 

I'm trying to create few VLANs + Untagged adapter.

For example first new VLAN 120 and then new Untagged adapter.

However untagged adapter always results in blue screen: KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION.

 

Could you advice on this?

Hello Michael,

 

No. Our IT department puts complete (ready to used) Windows 10 image on our drives with corporate things inside. So no chance to check with fresh Windows 10 image.

Ive already stated that i have this issue as well as one more colleague with same machine. So 2 systems.

The reason why I asked the number of systems affected is because you mentioned that IT is using an image to install Windows 10. Since there are just 2 systems, is there a chance that you can try the steps again after a fresh OS installation? This usually works for other customers and even in our lab.

Hello Michael,

 

I don't see this option feasable since these computers are for everyday work. So not possible to stop my work to give the computer to ITs to reinstall Windows.

I was able to create untagged VLAN after installing 24.4 software package that you mentioned.
