Hi,
I recently installed the latest build of ESXi 6.5 update 2 and am having issues with it.
I found that VMware still ships the old driver 1.3.1 so I installed the 1.5.8.
However this driver /community/tech/wired/blog/2018/05/22/using-intel-ethernet-700-series-network-adapters-in-vmware-esxi-6x requires the NVM firmware to be 3.28 or 3.51 (default installed is 3.25).
Everything is crystal clear for the X710 but I cannot find the NVM updater for the X722 to install 3.28 or 3.51.

Thank you for posting in Intel Wired Ethernet Communities. Please provide the board make and model that the X722 is built into. Is the issue with the NVM update only, or is there an issue with the adapter that prompted you to update the drivers?

After patching my hosts to ESXi 6.5 update 2 I noticed strange behaviours on some of them and this one shows 1 port down out of the 2 on the NIC.
I tried the VMware stock image with/without 1.5.8 and the Fujitsu customized image (which includes 1.5.8).
I found other people online had issue with X7 series in the latest build of vSphere. Issues with X710 pop up more often but some struggle with X722 as well.

Thank you for the clarification. Have you checked with Fujitsu for the NVM update? The NVM update for the on board X722 is provided by the board manufacturer. The NVM updates we have for the X722 are for Intel server boards. Please check with Fujitsu, and let us know if there are any issues after the NVM update.
