Cable to connect Arria10 SoC Development Kit to PC's PCIexpress?

Hi,

The Arria 10 SoC Development Kit User Guide states that:

"A special PCIE-FMC cable(HDR-181157-01-PCIEC) made by SAMTEC must be plugged into the FMCB slot for the PCIe EPapplication."

But I'm not sure if the aforementioned cable has a male PCIe connector (to connect to a PC, which is what we want) or a female PCIe connector (to connect daughterboards to the Arria 10 SoC Development Kit).

What is the recommended way of connecting the Arria 10 SoC Development Kit to the PCIexpress interface of a PC? Is the HDR-181157-01-PCIEC enough to do this?

Kind regards

Hello Welcome to INTEL forum. Based on the Arria 10 SoC Development Kit User Guide document, SAMTEC do provide special PCIE-FMC cable that has a male to male PCIe connector (connect dev.kit to PC motherboard). Refer for more information https://www.samtec.com/products/pciec
