We are investigating an issue where users on devices with Intel Iris Xe and UHD Graphics experience input lag and canvas stuttering when interacting with dynamic intake forms on our portal (hdclaims(dot)co(dot)uk).
Issue Description:
When completing multi-step forms that utilize CSS 3D transforms and client-side JavaScript validation, the browser tab briefly freezes for 1-2 seconds. Toggling off Hardware Acceleration in Chromium browser settings resolves the lag, but reduces overall CSS animation smoothness.
Environment & Hardware:

CPU/GPU: 11th/12th Gen Intel Core i5 with Intel UHD Graphics (Driver Version: 31.0.x)

Steps Taken:

Updated Intel Graphics drivers to the latest DCH release.

Tried forcing the ANGLE graphics backend in Chrome flags (chrome://flags/#use-angle) to OpenGL and D3D11.

Profiled performance via Chrome DevTools, which shows high GPU process memory usage during DOM re-renders.
Is there a known driver-level workaround or specific CSS composition rule to prevent GPU thread locking on Intel integrated graphics?
