Intel UHD Graphics vs. Windows Update

To this day for a couple of years, the Windows Update feature does not recognize the Intel Graphics Driver Updates. We will get a notice there is an Intel Driver Update and update graphics drivers, reboot, then Windows Update begins to install an earlier version of graphic drivers.

Why does Windows Update and Intel Driver & Support Assistant not support each other?
