when I run GZDoom the graphics stops and a black screen appears

Good morning.
It happens to me that when I run GZDoom the graphics stops and a black screen appears and then it evolves but losing the customization. If the icons appear but the background is still black and some programs are visually misaligned too.
It doesn't happen at startup (it can be after a minute or after 20 minutes...) and not always. It is true that it is more than 80% of the time.
Could someone help me?
