Night Run game crashes on startup

The game crashes in normal mode The game files have been checked by Epic Games and found that they are intact and I have run the game in safe mode and the game has started successfully

Hello kiro1, 


Thank you for patiently waiting Upon trying to simulate your issue, we found out that the issue still persisted even when testing two different graphic drivers. Here are the driver version we tested: 

  1. 31.0.101.5194_101.5252
  2. 31.0.101.5186_101.5234 WHQL Certified


Unfortunately, the reason for this is because all the games that you have listed requires a discrete graphics card to run. Discrete graphics has its own dedicated memory that is not shared with the CPU. Based on your SSU logs, you only have the integrated graphics from your CPU, which doesn't use a separate memory bank for graphics/video. This is the reason why some game is able to start at first, but crashes on later as the minimum requirements to run this games has not been met. To better understand what is causing the game crash for Night Run, please share the following details:


  1. When did the issue started? Was it sudden or gradual?
  2. Are there other games affected? 
  3. Are there any error message when the game crashes?
  4. Have you made any changes before the issue occurred? If you do, kindly please indicate if it is a software or a hardware change.
  5. Are you seeing any physical damage?
  6. It would really help us if we can get more information about your system. Please download and run our Intel® System Support Utility at this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html. After running it, you will be given an option to save the logs to a text file, please do so and attach the file on your reply.
  7. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

1- The problem was about two months ago when I downloaded the game .The game gradually crashes after the unity logo is displayed.

2- I have some other games that suddenly crash while playing, but not like this game crashes.

3-After the game crashes, UnityCrashHandler64 appears and starts collecting errors.

4-I disabled some devices such as the Realtek Gaming GbE family controller
and Microsoft Wi-Fi Virtual Direct Adapter.
5-There is no damage.

7-I tried to run the game in compatibility mode but it didn't work.

Thank you for sharing this information. Upon checking your logs, I can confirm that your graphics driver is up to date. We might need to coordinate this with our team to further check what is causing the crashes. Before I do, kindly please share this additional information: 

  1. DirectX* Diagnostic (DxDiag):
    1. Click Start.
    2. Type DxDiag in the search box and click DxDiag when it displays.
    3. Click Save All Information.
  2. System Information:
    1. Click Start.
    2. Type msinfo32 in the search box. Click msinfo32.exe when it displays.
    3. Save
  3. When you enable the Realtek Gaming GbE family controller and and Microsoft Wi-Fi Virtual Direct Adapter., does the issue still occurs? 
  4. May I please know why you disable this components in your system?

  1. Which other games are experiencing crashes? You indicated that this is not the only game affected. This information will help us document your case properly.
  2. Have you tested the issue with at least 3 different graphics drivers? If not, please try updating the graphics driver with 3 different versions and see if there is any difference. Here's the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html
  3. Have you updated your BIOS to the latest version? We noticed that the BIOS version on your logs is F28, 12/14/2023, but the most recent version from the Gigabyte website is "FS". Here's the link: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/H610M-S2-DDR4-rev-12/support#support-dl-bios
  4. What is the brand, model, and wattage of your power supply?
  5. Do you notice any overheating symptoms on your computer?

The BIOS version is 1.3, not 1.2

Yes, I tested the problem with different graphics drivers, but I will mention the ones I tested recently

I did not notice an increase in temperature while playing

Hitman Absolution
It suddenly crashes while playing
farcry2
It gradually crashes while loading the first chapter

Medal of Honor Airborne
It suddenly crashes while playing
Spider-Man - Shattered Dimensions
It suddenly crashes while playing
the amazing spider man 2
Two types of crash are gradual and sudden
It gradually crashes in the Claws of the Black Cat chapter
When Spider-Man approaches the museum, the game crashes.
Sudden crash while playing

The Amazing Spider-Man 1
Two types of crash are gradual and sudden
It crashes gradually after starting the first mission
I tried to fix a problem using the 4gb_patch program, and I was finally able to skip the first chapter, but then it crashed again while loading chapter 5.
