Turning V-Sync off only disables vertical synchronization, it doesn’t possible automatically turn off other sync-related features like Smooth Sync, Speed Sync, or Smart Sync. Those are separate options that manage frame pacing and latency in different ways. Just to make sure I give you the most accurate guidance:
- Are you trying to maximize performance (lowest latency) or get smoother visuals (tear-free gameplay)?
- And are you using Intel Graphics Software or adjusting this from within a specific game’s settings?
Once I know that, I can break down exactly what each setting does and which combo gives you the best balance for your setup.
