12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900H update

Hi I am trying to launch the Final Fantasy Rebirth with Steam acct.

I am getting the error for the   " Dx12 is not supported on your system to launch it.

 

I talked with the retailer about it. They said my graphic card is not compatible but the upgrade will become soon.

 

When can I suppose to be update to launch the game ?

  2. Was it working fine before?
  3. Are you having this issue on other games that uses the same launcher?
  4. Are you using the Intel Graphics embedded on the processor or a different Graphics controller?
  5. What are the troubleshooting steps that you tried?

This is the requirements below.

Graphics Cards with Shader Model 6.6 support and OS with DirectX 12 Ultimate support required. 12GB VRAM or above recommended to play on 4k resolution. 1080p / 60FPS (Graphics Quality Preset “Medium”), SSD Required. 12GB VRAM or above recommended to play on 4k resolution.

Hi Thank you for the reply.
1. In the end of October, last year.
2. This is the first game for this PC.
3. n/a
4.no
5.This game needs Dx12 Ultimate to run. Mine has Dx12, but only 12-1 .

So I asked the retailer to get refund.
The retailer checked my graphic card,
he told me this is not supported.

But neat future it will be updated.
I just want to confirm when the driver will be updated.

  1. You mentioned that you are not using the embedded Graphics, can you tell me brand and model of your Graphics controller?

My card has the DX12, but Dx12 Ultimate is required to run I think.

Mine is only support 12-1, and Dx Ultimate support 12-2.

My Dx Ultimate is disabled.
The retailer said the graphic card will be updated near future.

I think that means Intel will update my graphic card driver available soon.

Will you?

When I tried to launch the final fantasy rebirth game on my Steam account.


Error messages DX12 is not supported on your System. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3dx command line argument.

It occurs when I tried to launch it. I can’t even start the video.
I tried to run with -dx12, or -d3dx12

Didn’t run,so I contacted Greenman Gaming to get the refund. Then they checked my graphic card said the card is not supported, but anywhere near future it will be updated.
My graphic card is intel iris R Xe

Thank you for the update.


Based on the error that you encounter, this usually appear if the hardware does not meet the requirement of the game.

And since this is hardware, driver update will not help to meet the requirement of the game.

If the card updated to Direct x 12 Ultimate, still doesn’t work?

This is the launching problem , so I thought upgrading to DX12 Ultimate would work .

The game retailer told me , my graphic card will be updated in near future.

That is why I am asking when?

The reason you are getting that error is because your system did not meet the requirement of the game.

That is why we recommended to contact the game manufacturer if they have recommendations or workaround.
