7d55 GPU Support in the Mainline Linux Kernel?

I own two NUC 14 Pros with such a GPU.

Please read this thread first to understand why I am now here and the question I am about to post after changing OS from Arch to Ubuntu 24 and installing the packages from ppa:kobuk-team/intel-graphics, including the kernel (6.14.0-1008-intel).

Despite the NUCs being stable now (no more weird crashes), I still have, even with the 6.14.0-1008-intel kernel, the sudden disappearance (after a while) of the GPU load when monitoring it, for instance, with the intel_gpu_top command (see attached picture).

This anomaly is occurring with ANY Linux kernel I've tried so far.

Are there any known or still pending issues with the support of the 7d55 GPU?

But the main question I have about the 7d55 GPU is the following one:

Do the kernel (I assume) patches introduced by the Kobuk team make it to the mainline kernel?

Thank you!
