Arc b580 driver overhead

I have an Intel i5-11400 processor, and I’m planning to get the Arc B580 as my new graphics card. Does the driver overhead issue still persist? Will it be compatible with my processor?

Regarding driver overhead.

Is the problem related to single core performance, or can it be remedied by more cores?

In other words, do eight cores perform better than six, when using same generation CPU?
