Aspect ratio fix?

I recently updated my laptop to Windows 8 Pro x64.

I have the Intel GMA 4500MHD

Now when I play games at 1024x768 or smaller, there's black borders on both sides of the screen. It will stretch the game top to bottom, but not the sides.

Is there any way to fix this?

When I was still using Windows 7 there was an "Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel" to fix this problem.

But now I can't seem to find a solution for it.

Hi erriico,

I see you have installed Windows* 8 on the computer with a Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Chipset.

This graphics controller supports Windows* 7 32 bit or 64 bit. I regret to inform you that Intel did not make drivers for Windows* 8 on the Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Chipset because the chipset was designed before development of your operating system.

If you are interested in additional information please check the following web site:

Thanks
