Issue Summary: There is a critical, reproducible software conflict caused by the Intel Graphics Driver Installer. Every time a full installation or update of the Intel Graphics driver is performed, the Digigram Hardware Settings (Control Panel for VX882e/VX222e professional audio cards) fails to recognize the hardware. This renders professional monitoring and playback workflows unusable.
Environment:
OS: Windows 10 & Windows 11 (Latest builds)
Audio Hardware: Digigram VX882e (S/N: 020339) and VX222e (S/N: 021014)
Intel Driver Versions: v32.0.101.7080 and all recent releases (2025/2026).
Steps to Reproduce:
Ensure Digigram VX882e is fully functional (see attached screenshot showing all inputs/outputs active).
Run the Intel Graphics Driver Installer with "Intel Graphics Software" and "Driver Support Assistant" components selected.
After installation completes, open Digigram Hardware Settings.
Result: The sound card is no longer detected. The control interface is empty.
Key Technical Observations & Evidence:
Vendor Comparison: Crucially, this issue does NOT occur with NVIDIA or AMD graphics drivers. Using GPU drivers from other vendors on the same system does not interfere with the Digigram hardware. This confirms the bug is unique to the Intel Graphics Installer's execution logic.
Tested Workarounds: I have already tried disabling the "Intel(R) Display Audio" driver in Device Manager, but the conflict persists. This proves the issue is NOT a simple HDMI/DP audio stream conflict.
Installer Behavior: The Intel Graphics Software installer appears to be performing unauthorized overwrites of Windows Audio Endpoints or Multimedia Registry Class Keys (e.g., KSCATEGORY_AUDIO) that are essential for 3rd-party WDM/ASIO control paths.
Recovery: Currently, the only way to restore functionality is a complete uninstallation of the Intel suite (using DDU) or a clean OS reinstallation, as the installer permanently breaks the Digigram driver's communication link.
