After trying to install the latest Intel Graphics 620 drivers the screen goes black and I can’t do anything. Once I shut the laptop down (Lenovo Ideapad 330) everything is back to normal but the drivers are not installed.

We are checking this thread and we would like to know if you need further assistance. If yes, could you please provide the following information?
1- Is the black screen happening of the built-in display, external display, or both?
2- If using external displays, how are you connecting it to the laptop? Are you using adapters, dongles, or docking? Please provide cable details.
3- Did this configuration work fine before? Is there any recent hardware, software, Windows®, or driver update that may relate to where the issue started?
4- When you mentioned "the driver is not installed" do you mean Windows® is going back to a previous version of the driver? Are you receiving any error message? Please provide more details.
5- Please provide a Report for Intel® Graphics Drivers following the steps on the below link:
