Hello!

I have a very serious problem. I bought a new pc (build it myself), after successful installation I played couple hours of Diablo 3 and Mirror's edge. Then on the next day problem appeared. When I played a game, after some random amount of time(usually about 20-30 min) my screen freezes and i'm not able to do anything. Now it happens with every game in full screen mode. Please help me I'm quite desperate :C

I checked everything:

-temperature is below 40 C

-formated and instaled windows 8(previously 7)

-memtest passed with no errors

-processor sent back for repair - i got brand new one after month still same problem

-drivers and bios are all up to date

-tried even older drivers and those from asrock

What is my setup:

-i5 3570K 3,4Ghz

-2x4gb Kingston Hyperx Genesis DDR3-1600

-Asrock Z77 Pro3

-Seagate 1TB hd

-Kingston 64GB SSD

-asus xonar dg

-thermaltake smartSe 530W

My log from dxdiag

Hi Lenriqel,

I am sorry to hear you are having problems when playing in your system but let me help you with this.

Checking the information you have provided, I can see you have done several important steps. At this point there are few steps I can provide since as mentioned you have done many steps and there are not other users reporting the issues:

  1. Test if possible different HDD or SSD.
  2. Try with a different RAM part number, if possible.
  3. Test a different PSU, if possible.

Since you have replaced the processor is very unlikely that you will get another defective processor therefore I recommend you contacting the board manufacture for them to test the board components or replace the unit if necessary.
