Added a custom resolution using Intel Graphics Command Center. The new resolution still won´t show up in the drop down for the monitor.

I am using a Microsoft Surface 3 w/Windows 11 connected to an LG Ultrawide monitor. Thoughts?

Changed the cable from HDMI/mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort/mini-DisplayPort and all my problems went away! Resolution works fine, speakers were not working with HDMI other than making random noises, monitor speakers now work fine also!

It is worth noting that Microsoft Corp. in the latest Surface devices has moved from previously used mini-DP to USB-C

"Surface Laptop Studio"

"Surface Pro 8"

and in Intel Corp. NUC devices according to the data in the tables, the highest resolution is provided by the USB-C port

"Multiple Display Configuration Options for Intel® NUC Kits NUC11PAQ, NUC11PAH, and NUC11PAK"

I tested that 1 from 2 USB-C to DisplayPort adapters is functioning directly on Power On stage with NUC11 and
1 from 2 USB-C to HDMI adapters .
