Disaster- Matrix Storage ROM - Reseting to Non-RAID does not work

I tried reseting to Non-RAID (both HDD - i.e. 1 original bootable, and 1 empty), and restart. Unfortunately, it still cannot find boot media. I tried settings using Storage config as RAID, IDE, AHCI. None seems to work. I disconnect the new emnpty drive to make sure that I have only the original boot drive there. It still did not work. I think the data should still be there as both the process of "Create RAID volume" and "Reset to Non-RAID' were done instantly without any physical erasing of data. Please help me to retreive it. Very desparate. Many thanks for helping.

Is it advisable to try recovery by hooking the said hdd to another PC and run recovery program to retrieve the MBR/partition data? Many thanks for any advice.
