Hello azee

I would recommend to install the latest version of the Graphics Driver which according to your system information it's at the following link https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25232/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64bit Download Intel® Iris™, Iris™ Pro, and HD Graphics Driver for Windows* 7/8/8.1 64bit, I would also recommend performing a manual installation of the driver. Here are the instructions for the Manual Installation http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033916.htm Desktop graphics drivers — How to Manually Install a Driver in Microsoft Windows 8* or Windows 8.1*

For further information you can check the following link http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-009483.htm Graphics Drivers — Errors Reported By Microsoft*.

Let me know your findings.

Regards,

Amy.

Do you mean the driver installation or do you mean that the error still persists?

The driver wont install as I have an i7 and there is only i6 on that download. I noted a lot of people with i7 having the same problem so I think its safe to assume the issue is not resolved

I think it's important for this issue to continue to be investigated.

I have the same problem: Dell XPS. Bought it in 2015. Top of the line, latest specs. Windows 10 64 bit

After long hours with Dell tech support, unable to resolve. I finally went to Device Manager and used the automatic driver update option. It downloaded the latest driver automatically and installed it and the problem got better significantly. It used to do it at least a few times a day with heavy usage but after downloading the update, I no longer had the problem. I thought it was fixed actually but today it happened again. First time in about a week.

Note I did not update the driver MANUALLY as instructed but merely clicked the automatic option.

After the error came up tonight, I went back to the Device Manager but this time, clicking on the option shows I already have the latest driver version installed.

Not quite sure what to make of this but the fact that an updated driver update did significantly improve the problem for me shows me that it is something with the Intel driver and how it interacts with Windows 10.

Please continue to research this and give us a driver update that fixes this issue.

I don't play games on my computer so luckily this problem is mildly annoying as it resets my browser when it happens but bounces back reasonably quickly, but for heavy gamers, this is a deal breaking issue.

Check the status of graphics card from Device Manager.

a. Click on Start button, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

b. Locate the graphics device, right-click http://goo.gl/hwzlvP on it and select Properties.

c. Click on General tab and check for device status.

if your pc has onboard intel video and a gpu you have the video cable on the intel motherboard port. for the error a lot of games dont like intel or other video chipset. you can try updating the gpu driver from intel web page and the mb chipset drivers.

Please do try these driver from Intel's Support site that may work.

- First, uninstall Intel graphics driver from Device Manager.

- Download and install these driver

- After the installation reboot your laptop and see if this will solve the issue for good.
