The laptop I'm looking at buying has the Intel 4500MHD graphics card. The laptop only has a VGA out port, no DVI or HDMI. I'm wondering if I buy a VGA-to-RCA/S-Video cable (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4667) will work if I hook my laptop up to a tv which has an s-video connection (Laptop VGA -> TV S-Video).
I've read that the cable will only work if the graphics chipset has tv-out capability in order for this cable to work correctly.
From the first link I'm trying to find out where this tv-out capability may be listed or is called something else. Maybe I don't know what to look for to find this out. So in short, does this graphics card has tv-out capability?

Hi,
I already have a notebook with GMA 4500MHD and in a similar problem as you intend to be.
I bought a VGA to S-Video/RCA cable from Amazon but it does not seem to be working.
Please see my post and reply if you have found a solution.
