I'm not sure if this is the place to ask but, I have Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500. I was wondering if I need to update it? I've tried and it said that it wasn't compatible. Please help and tell me which one to download.

That's stuff about my laptop if needed.

You don't need to if you have no troubles. If you have that "not-so-fresh-feeling" get latest driver from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26682/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=86210 Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.40]

If the installer stops with an error message proceed like this:

Create a system restore point

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/e6bbddb0-9db4-4d88-9063-42c52c79a96e/create-a-system-restore-point

Install the current driver build via "have disk method" as described at:

(ignore prolog about MS surface)

Hello Jaelight,

I was wondering if you were able or not to update the graphics driver with the steps Stefan3D provided. In case you still need assistance just let me know.

Regards,
